Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, all experiences are by appointment only.
Please use our online booking system and call or message any queries.

What is the terrain on the experience like?

The track is newly cut through the woods, and there are some roots sticking up on the trail. There are some small inclines and declines, but these shouldn't present any problem to people without mobility issues.

What age are the Alpaca Experiences suitable for?

Alpaca experiences are wonderful for any age we have had 3 year olds and 87 year olds come and fall in love with our herd.
Anyone below 18 will have to share an alpaca with an adult (over 18) when walking.
Please note as the alpaca are based in a woodland the ground can have roots, rocks etc so expect some rough terrain and wear appropriate footwear.

Do Alpaca Experiences run in bad weather?

Experiences will go ahead except in extreme cases where high winds may cause safety concerns, in these cases I will call you to re-schedule.
Our alpacas are happy to walk out in the rain, so please ensure you bring a rain coat.
We will contact you no less than 90 minutes prior to the trek, but please contact me if you wish to check if we are running.

What happens if I am late?

If you are late for your designated Alpaca Experience slot, you may miss it and not be granted a refund. Please try to be on time as there will be others in your group and we cannot keep them, or the alpacas, waiting.

Can dogs attend experiences?

No dogs are allowed on site as they may spook the Alpacas.
Our on site superstar Tiny Teddy is the only dog the alpacas will allow near them.
